Beta 0.1.2024

These downloads provide installations, installation kits and documentation for the 0.1.2024 Beta release of TinyBuilder. There are no premium features in the Beta; all functionality is free of charge and will continue to be free of charge in 1.0. As usual, the Beta is provided for evaluation purposes and to provide feedback to Tiny Management before the release of 1.0. There are known bugs that are unlikely to prevent evaluation. While we will avoid it, it is possible that an upgrade from the Beta to 1.0 will require the complete removal of the Beta first.

The documentation is provided to allow a user to make full use of all of TinyBuilder features and solve problems that occurred during its use.

The user guide is intended to provide complete documentation of the base product of TinyBuilder. After completing the user guide, you should be able to effectively use all TinyBuilder features.

Download the user guide here: User Guide

The reference guide is intended to be helpful for diagnosing problems when TinyBuilder does not act as expected. It is not intended to be read cover to cover.

The diversity of Linux distributions makes the creation of packages that can install on all distributions impossible. These installation kits are archives of source similar to the source of the installation packages used by Tiny Management to build the Debian packages. These archives are provided as documentation that can facilitate the creation of custom packages that can be used with different apt based distributions.

The secure server installation will only accept connections through sshd.

The package resulting from the secure server kit will produce a package named tbuilder, not tbuilder-secure. This is not difficult to correct with changes to the build.server.sh file.
